Prometheus Energy Company utilizes stranded and waste sources of methane and economically converts them to liquefied natural gas, LNG. Our proprietary technology has been developed and refined over the past thirteen years to commercialize and economically process low-BTU gas sources into LNG at plant sizes significantly below competitive technology. Smaller plant size enables LNG production to occur close to our end users resulting in very competitive LNG cost. This technology will allow us to supplement conventional sources of LNG, supplying our customers with a less expensive and more reliable source of LNG. Fuel

Our fleet of LNG specific trailers will deliver the fuel we produce directly to our customers’ on site storage tanks. By doing so, Prometheus’ goal is to expand the supply constrained LNG market across the country.

Engine & Vehicle Conversion

Prometheus works directly with customers to determine specific customer needs for a fleet and recommend the right product whether it is OEM, repower, or conversion. Prometheus is familiar with a wide range of options and keeps up to date on all the technological developments and equipment offerings in this field. Our onsite field service engineers will also walk you through your conversion process and provide personnel training including vehicle operations. We will provide all emission certifications for the conversion kits we provide.

Refueling Station

Prometheus is your one-stop-shop for all of your LNG needs. Our strategic partners can design, deliver, and install either an LNG or L/CNG station to fit every need. We aim to eliminate many of the headaches and growing pains with installing an alternative fuel by providing one point of contact for the project. Temporary refueling stations can also be provided for project demonstrations. This allows our customers more flexibility and to quickly implement LNG into their fleets and to recognize its benefits, today.
